Will there be pacers?

The Dutch Pacing Team will be present at the NN Half Marathon. The Dutch Pacing Team consists of experienced runners who set the pace in the half marathon. The pacers carry flags and bib numbers displaying the target finish time. You can join a pacer of your choice.

The target times for the full (M) and half marathon (HM) are as follows:

Disclaimer: It is possible that pacers may have to drop out at the last minute due to an unexpected injury. If this is the case, we will do everything we can to find replacements (which is sometimes no longer possible at short notice).

Starting area
The starting area is divied in waves based on your expected end time specified in the registration form. Due to the production of bib numbers, you may enter your expected finish time up  until February 2.  After this date,  all participants will automatically be placed in the last start wave.  Please note: changing your start wave will no longer be possible after that. You can always start in a later start wave, you do not have to let us know.

To promote flow on the course, you are assigned to the start wave that is stated on your bib number. It is no longer possible to change your starting box. Make sure you are positioned in your starting wave at least 15-30 minutes before the start.
