This classic The Hague run kicks off your running season!
In recent years, the 10 km Run has become a very popular event with thousands of participants. The course runs through the center after the Koningskade, finishing on the Boorlaan next to the Malieveld.
The next edition will be on March 14, 2027.
Run against cancer
Register through KWF, raise at least 500 euros in sponsorship money by January 25, 2027, and receive your free race entry and the “Run Against Cancer” shirt from KWF. Your participation directly contributes to a better life for everyone affected by cancer. With your own action page, fundraising for KWF is easier than you think!

Course
The 10 km Run shows you the most beautiful parts of The Hague. You’ll pass by the Scheveningen Woods and the Westbroekpark. The last few kilometers take you on the same course as the half marathon runners before finishing again at the Malieveld.

Do you have a finish time—recorded by MyLaps after March 1, 2025—in the 10K that’s under 0:36:00 (men) or 0:41:00 (women)? You may be eligible for a fast starting block. There are a limited number of fast starting positions available. Based on all registrations, we will assign the starting positions in starting block A to the fastest runners.

Starting area
The starting area is divied in waves based on your expected end time specified in the registration form. In verband met de productie van de startnummers is het mogelijk om tot en met 1 februari je verwachte eindtijd in te vullen. After this, all participants are automatically assigned to the last start wave. Please note: changing the start wave is then no longer possible. You can always start in a later start wave, you do not have to let us know.
To promote flow on the course, you are assigned to the start wave that is stated on your bib number. It is no longer possible to change your start wave. Make sure you are lined up in your start box at least 15-30 minutes before the start.
Can I change my distance?
You can change your distance, provided the desired distance is not sold out. Changing to a longer distance requires payment of the price difference. When changing to a shorter distance, no partial refunds of the registration fee will be given.
Step-by-step guide
- Log in to your dashboard. The link can be found in the confirmation email.
- Click on “Change Your Distance”;
- Select the distance you want to run and click “Change Distance.”
- If you have chosen a longer distance and there is a price difference, you must pay the owed amount by clicking “Checkout.”
If you changed the distance after January 31, you can join the new distance using your old bib number. You do not need to stop by the race office for this.
Can I cancel my registration?
Cancellation is only possible for the NN Half Marathon. You can transfer your race number to someone else by logging in to your dashboard and follow the steps. If you transfer your race number after January 31, your name will appear on the race number because they have already been printed. The race number will be sent to the original participant’s address, so you are responsible for transferring your race number yourself.
