There are two ways to participate.
Research
1 in 2 Dutch people will get cancer at some point in their lives. Golazo, the organizer of the NN CPC Loop Den Haag, believes that much of this cancer can be prevented. Over a third of all cancer cases are attributed to lifestyle and environmental factors, such as unhealthy eating and lack of exercise. Golazo sees great opportunities here and is eager to take on this challenge. That’s why they connect their sports events with KWF. Together, we raise funds for scientific research focused on prevention, diagnostics, treatment, and quality of life. But it’s not just scientific research that is funded; part of the proceeds also goes to local initiatives, such as supporting IPSO Centers for living with and after cancer and palliative care.
